What Happens During a First Access Bars® Session?
During your first Access Bars® session at Aloha Health and Wellness in Paramus, NJ, you remain fully clothed, rest comfortably on a treatment table, and receive gentle touch on specific points of the head. The session is calm, quiet, and designed to support relaxation, mental ease, and energetic reset.
What Happens Before the Session Begins
Your first session starts with a brief conversation. I may ask what brought you in, how you have been feeling, or whether there is anything you want support around. You do not need to have the “right” answer. Some people arrive with a clear intention. Others say, “I have no idea what I need, but I know I need something.”
That is enough.
If you are new to Access Bars®, I will explain what happens before we begin so you can relax and know what to expect.
What Happens During the Session
Once you are comfortable on the table, I lightly touch different points on your head. These points are called the Bars. The touch is gentle, still, and non-invasive.
You do not need to talk during the session. You do not need to meditate perfectly. You do not need to clear your mind on command — because honestly, if that worked, half of us would be enlightened in the ShopRite parking lot.
Your only job is to receive.
Some clients feel very relaxed. Some fall asleep. Some feel warmth, tingling, lightness, or a sense of space. Others simply feel quiet. There is no one correct experience.
What Happens Afterward
After the session, there is time for integration and discussion if needed. You may feel calm, lighter, more spacious, or more grounded. Some people want to sit quietly for a moment before jumping back into their day.
I usually suggest drinking water and giving yourself a little space afterward if possible.
Who Is a First Access Bars® Session Good For?
A first Access Bars® session may be supportive if you feel mentally busy, energetically drained, emotionally heavy, or curious about energy-based wellness. It is also a gentle option for people who do not want to talk through everything they are carrying.
